Mesa Elementary is a proud school of excellence and innovation. We offer many unique programs, including a Mandarin Dual Language Immersion program, art and music programs, including Great Artists, choir, and band (with district-provided instruments for 4th and 5th graders), Student Leadership, Earth Club, and Physical Education. Social-emotional learning programs such as RULER, CharacterStrong, and Second Step equip students with emotional intelligence, resilience, and strategies to navigate challenges. Mesa offers a rigorous academic program that prepares students to be innovative thinkers, compassionate citizens, and responsible learners. Welcome Back Mustangs!
The first day of school is just around the corner, and we can't wait to see you. Here are a few quick reminders to help with the start of the school year.
School begins on Monday, August 18, 2025.

- TK phase in schedule
- Week 1: 8:15-10:30 AM
- Week 2: 8:15- 11:30 AM
- Week 3: 8:15-1:00 PM
- Kinder school hours are 8:15AM - 1:00 PM (Students enter through the south gate)
- Grades 1-5 school hours are 8:15AM - 2:35 PM (Students enter through the gate nearest the cafeteria).
- School gates will open at 7:55 AM for Walk and Talk (students only).
- Breakfast will be served daily at 7:30 AM in the cafeteria.
All Tuesdays are MINIMUM DAYS. All TK-5th grade students will end their day at 12:10 PM.
Pick-up for all students will take place at the front of the school. Car placards will be sent home after the first day to help with speediness. Please help keep everyone safe by doing the following:
- Stay in your vehicle and do not leave it unattended.
- Use the car placard.
- Use the crosswalk.
- Drive your vehicle forward as far as possible to the next available spot.
Mesa's school uniforms can be found at local department stores (Khaki or blue pants/shorts, red, white, or blue polo shirts, and shoes (no sandals).
Teacher assignments will be made available through your AERIES Parent Portal account on Friday, August 15th.
Mesa Elementary School provides all the needed school supplies for students. You may purchase optional supplies: backpack, pencils, notebook, etc. Bell Schedule, Important Dates, PTA Membership forms, etc. will be sent home with students in their first day folders.
